Services for Leslie H. "Les" Sims, 82, of Memphis, TX, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 4, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Memphis, TX, with Rev. O.K. Bowen officiating, assisted by Rev. Dewayne Wolf. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Sims passed away on Friday, April 1, 2005 in Childress, TX. He was born on September 17, 1922 in Pike, TX to the late Willie (Curtis) Sims and William A. Sims. He is survived by his wife Allene (Provence) Sims of Memphis, TX; two Daughters, Minka Allen of San Antonio, Texas; and Donna Schovajsa of Morton, Texas; one son, Gary Sims of Amarillo, Texas; one sister,Mildred Anderson of DeSoto, Texas; one brother, Buddy Sims of Memphis, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
