Services for Betty L. Brock, 66, of Pampa, TX will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Memphis, TX with Rev. Johnny Turner, officiating. A private inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX at a later time under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Betty passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in Denton, TX. Betty was born August 14, 1945 in De Kalb, TX to Gladys (Samuels) and the late Mr. Shelton Cooper. She attended schools in Memphis, TX. She married Horace C. Brock on March 27, 1961 in Memphis, TX. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1986. She moved to Pampa, TX in 1988 from Memphis, TX. Before moving to Pampa she worked as a cook at the Deville Restaurant. Betty’s faith was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her brother, Milton Cooper. Mrs. Brock leaves to cherish in her memory her mother, Gladys Cooper of Pampa, TX; her sons, Jerry Brock of Amarillo, TX; Jason Cooper of Frisco, TX; her daughters, Velma Moss, Geneva Brock, Sonya Brock all of Denton, TX; Sylvia Brock of Pampa, TX; her brother, Otis Cooper of Memphis, TX; her sisters, Mary Milton of Gilmer, TX; Ocletha Cruz of Lawton, OK; Rudy Gordon of Clovis, NM; Shirley Kearns of Lawton, OK; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Joe Brown of Pampa, TX.
