Memorial service for Dinah Louise Elkins, 47, of Amarillo, TX will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Boxwell Brothers Chapel with Joe Hamilton, officiating. Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Eller Flat Prairie Dell Cemetery in Hemphill County under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Dinah passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Amarillo, TX. Dinah was born July 21, 1964 in Amarillo, TX to Nona (Owens) Elkins and the late Mr. Richard “Dick” Elkins. She was a 1982 graduate of Caprock High School. Dinah has worked as a lab clerk for the past 16 years at the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic. She was a motorcycle enthusiast. She is survived by her mother, Nona Elkins of Amarillo, TX; her brothers, Don Elkins and wife Susan of Amarillo, TX; John David Elkins of Poteau, OK; her sisters, Laurie Elkins of Dallas, TX; Sammie Mouton and husband Peter of St. Petersburg, FL; her nephews, Ivan Elkins of Amarillo, TX; Bobby Elkins of Poteau, OK; her nieces, Amanda Elkins of Ft. Smith, AR; Catherine Elkins of Guymon, OK and numerous cousins and close friends at the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic.
