Memorial service for Mrs. Georgia Bell Dickson, 62, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Aulston Ridley and Brother Woodrow Richardson, officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Georgia passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Memphis, TX. Georgia was born August 30, 1949 in Memphis, TX to the late Mr. Otha Rogers and Mrs. Mildred (Moore) Rogers. She attended school in Memphis. She married Raymond Dickson Sr. on February 14, 1970 in Memphis, TX. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2006. Georgia worked for 10 years for GTE in the supply transportation department. She was a member of the Easter Star and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Georgia loved collecting cans, fishing and selling copper. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elisa Inez Rogers and her brother, L.D. Williams. She is survived by four sons, Raymond Dickson and wife Sherri of Aurora, CO; Authur Ray Dickson and wife Ramona of Memphis, TX; Lamonte Dickson and wife Natalie of Memphis, TX; Otho Dickson and wife Aleisha of Amarillo, TX; four brothers, Garfield Williams, Harry Lee Rogers and Loral Rogers all of Memphis, TX; William Rogers of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Opal Means Carter of Memphis, TX; Debbie Inez Rogers of San Angelo, TX and 14 grandchildren.
