Kirk Morrow

Services for Kirk Morrow, 44, of Canadian ,TX will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Canadian Wildcat Gymnasium with Rev. Danny Sanders, officiating and Micah Lewis, assisting. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Kirk passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in Amarillo, TX. Kirk was born February 14, 1967 in Canadian, TX to Mr. George Morrow and Mrs. Verna Beth (Litchfield) Morrow. He was a 1985 graduate of Canadian High School. Kirk then went on to attend Texas Tech University. Kirk was the pro shop manager at the Canadian Country Club from 1994 to 2000. He then moved to Dimmitt where he became the manager for the Dimmitt Country Club from 2000 to 2004. Kirk then moved back to Canadian where he became partner and agent in Canadian Insurance. In 2005, Kirk started the Junior League Football Team in Canadian. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons, M.T. and Ty Morrow both of Canadian, TX; his parents, George and Verna Beth Morrow of Canadian, TX; his brothers, Van Morrow of Canadian, TX; Guy Morrow and wife Laura of San Angelo, TX; his sister, Kim Parnell and husband David of Canadian, TX; his aunts, Gaydean Bucher of Canadian, TX; Nona Gray of Pampa, TX; Norma Brooks of Amarillo, TX; Jony Thomas and husband Cecil of Panhandle, TX; Carole Apple and husband Harry of Marshall, AR; Ann Burnett and husband Rick of Williston, ND; Lura Mae Miller of Jacksonville, TN; his uncles, Dale Litchfield of Canadian, TX Eddie Bob Morrow and wife LaDonna of Darrouzett, TX; John Whitsitt of Higgins, TX; his nieces, Kristin Campos and husband Ed of Lubbock, TX; Bailey Morrow of Ainsworth, NE; his nephew, Jay Parnell of Bakersfield, CA and co worker, Stephanie Rowden of Canadian, TX.
