Services for Bonnie Wilson, 71, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Travis Baptist Church in Memphis, TX, with Rev. Johnny Snider, officiating and Rev. Dewayne Wolf, assisting. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Wilson died on Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Amarillo, TX. Bonnie was born on June 28, 1935 in Memphis, TX to the late Mr. Willie Benton and Mrs. Emma Rae Reed Benton. She was a graduate of Memphis High School. She married Ronald Wilson Sr. on October 23, 1952 in Clovis, NM. Bonnie was owner and operator of the Pounds Cafe, Big O and the Branding Iron restaurant until retiring in 1980. She was a life long resident of Hall County and the Travis Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Red River Red Hatters Club and Club 51. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Randy Wilson and Ronny Wilson Jr. and wife Laura all of Memphis, TX; two daughters, Renee’ Fowler and husband Tim of Carlsbad, NM; Ronelle Thompson of Memphis, TX; one brother, Bobby Benton of Lakeway, TX; five sisters, Carol Wood of Round Rock, TX; Rita Bryant, Peggy Vinson and Debbie Sims all of Amarillo, TX; Janie Bledsoe of Austin, TX; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to the Hall County EMS, P.O. 639, Memphis, TX 79245.
