Larry O. Beasley

Memorial services for Larry O. Beasley, 63, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the First Christian Church with Matt Cook, officiating. Inurnment will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Beasley passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Larry was born August 20, 1947 in Clinton, SC to the late Mr. O’Neal Beasley and Mrs. Vivian (Arthur) Beasley. He attended schools in Canadian, TX. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He married Judy Cox on October 8, 1982 in Canadian, TX. Larry worked in the oil field for many years and for the last 10 years he has worked for the Pit Stop Tire & Service. He was a member of the Canadian Gun Club and the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Beasley of Canadian, TX; two sons, Ben Beasley of Oklahoma; Bobby Russell of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Julie Beasley of Oklahoma; Tammy Owens of Midland, TX; one brother, Terry Beasley of Tecumseh, OK; four sisters, JoAnn Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK; Vickie Myers of Norman, OK; Brenda Bridges of Amarillo, TX; Pam Beasley of Youngsville, LA and 12 grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Edward Abraham Memorial Home Activities Fund, 803 Birch St., Canadian, TX 79014.
