Memorial services for Katy Coffee, 35, of Newcastle, WY will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Canadian, TX with Rev. Danny Sanders, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Katy passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 in Newcastle, WY. Katy was born January 12, 1976 in Kerrville, TX to Mr. Harold A. “Hack” Coffee and Mrs. Bobbie (Stoebe) Coffee. She was a 1994 graduate of Higgins High School. She then went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Wild Life Biology from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX. Katy worked as a District Conservationist for the USDA-NRCS in Newcastle, WY. She is survived by her parents, Harold A. “Hack” and Bobbie Coffee of Canadian, TX; two brothers, Cameron Coffee and wife Cara of Portland, OR; Jim Coffee of Austin, TX; her grandparents, Squink and Irene Coffee of Miami, TX; Grace Stoebe of Billings, MT; her aunts and uncles, Robin Stoebe and wife Leslie of Billings, MT; Charles Coffee and wife Rolanda of Canadian, TX; Cindy Wheeler and husband Ben of Miami, TX. The family suggests memorials be made to an Animal Rescue of your choice.
