Services for Mr. Bill Ritchie, 81, of Lakeview, TX will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2011 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with C.W. Parker, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Bill passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Lakeview, TX. Bill was born June 18, 1929 in Wyandotte, OK to the late Mr. Louis Ritchie and Mrs. Peggy (Wine) Ritchie. He attended schools in Rufe, OK and Clinton, MO. He married Becky Spencer on July 8, 1950 in Idabel, OK. She preceded him in death on August 28, 2002. They moved to Lakeview, TX in 1969 from Amarillo, TX. Bill was owner and operator of B & B Garage in Lakeview, TX and was also a farmer. He was preceded in death by five brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by five sons, Ronald Ritchie of Amarillo, TX; Billy Jack Ritchie of Foyil, OK; Donald Ritchie of Pueblo, CO; Kenneth Ritchie of Lakeview, TX; Bobby Ritchie of Whitesboro, TX; three daughters, Wilma Mestas of Lakeview, TX; Nelda Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; Lorrie Shipp of Albany, TX; one brother, Wylie Ritchie of Commerce, TX and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
