Graveside services for Ollie Hope Hawley, 92, of Amarillo, TX will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, TX with Dale DeRaad and Dan Wisecup, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Hope Hawley passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Canadian, TX. Hope Hawley was born February 24, 1919 to the late Ollie and Mary Lee Bright. She attended school in Vernon, Texas. She married Charlie Hawley on January 4, 1939. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1978. She worked as a nurse aide at MHMR (State of Texas) for over twenty years. She is survived by three sons; Jim Hawley and wife Pennie of Canadian, TX; Weldon Hawley and wife Charlotte of Electra, TX; John Hawley and wife Jymie Carol of Kerens, TX; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; Anna Hatton of Winslow, AZ; Juanita Chapman of Amarillo, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
