Rosary services for Mr. Juan A. Villanueva, 57, of Lakeview, TX will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Schmitmeyer, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, TX. Mr. Villanueva passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Clarendon, TX. Juan was born June 26, 1953 in Edinburg, TX to Mrs. Delfina (Adame) Villanueva and the late Mr. Manuel Villanueva. He attended schools in Hidalgo County. Juan moved to Lakeview, TX in 1971 from Reynosa, Mexico. He married Rebecca Castro on January 31, 1973 in Memphis, TX at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on August 23, 1993. He later married Rosalinda Gutierrez. Juan was founder of 4 V trucking service in 1991. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Joan Villanueva in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Gutierrez Villanueva of Lakeview, TX; three sons, Juan J. Villanueva and wife Deborah of Lakeview, TX; Lucio Villanueva and wife Amanda of Galveston, TX; Jaime Villanueva and wife Amanda of Memphis, TX; two daughters, Carmen Reyes of Corpus Christi, TX; Maribel Maestas and husband Jimmy of Amarillo, TX; his mother, Delfina Villanueva of Keller, TX; four brothers, Valentine Villanueva and wife Eva of Memphis, TX; Manuel Villanueva and wife Dora of Keller, TX; Jose Luis Villanueva and wife Rachel of Mission, TX; Robert Villanueva of Harlingen, TX; five sisters, Elizabeth Rosales of Keller, TX; Leticia Andaverde of Denton, TX; Ludivina Lucero of Keller, TX; Martina Adame of Keller, TX; Virginia Villanueva of Memphis, TX; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Maestas of Amarillo, TX; Kassidy Villanueva of Galveston, TX; Cesar Maestas of Amarillo, TX; Daisy Mae Villanueva of Lakeview, TX; Ethan Villanueva of Galveston, TX; Sabriel Maestas of Amarillo, TX; Jasmine Leigh Villanueva of Lakeview, TX; Christian Mora of Corpus Christi, TX; Damien Villanueva and Rebecca Villanueva both of Memphis, TX.
